Kairy - Hidden Scars

Self explanatory with this one.

Verbal abuse, bullying...they all leave scars which can't be seen by other people.  That doesn't mean they aren't there, and it doesn't demean the validity of those scars.

Yes, I consider myself a stronger person because of these scars which aren't visible, but the amount is excessive.

But ya know what?
Each time I get hurt, each time I get a scar which is hidden...even though it hurts, and even though I might cry, I still stand back up.

I don't think I'm a strong person, but I don't think I'm weak, either.  If it's courage to live with these scars, then I'll live with them and help other people who are having these scars inflicted on them.

I'm not going to give up because someone calls me some dumb name, or says I'm worthless.  It'll just be a new scar, and I'll keep on going.

These scars aren't what define us, but I'm still alive...none of the nasty words or verbal abuse has ever even made me consider taking my life. 

One of my favorite anime quotes is:
"There is no one who does not carry scars on their soul.  If there were such a person, they would be a shallow bastard."
